About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Leeds City College as an Apprentice Teacher in English (Level 5) in our School of Social Sciences based at Quarry Hill Campus . We are seeking a dynamic, talented and organised individual to undertake this important role. This role requires a Teacher to make a contribution towards positive outcomes for learners in English who are on a study programme in either Education & Early Years, Public Services or Health, Science & Social Care. This role is fixed term for 24 months.
What You Will Do

Plan, prepare and develop effective schemes of work, lesson plans, teaching and learning resources including the development of on-line learning resources.

Deliver inspiring sessions across the curriculum using a wide range of teaching methods for identified modules.

Create effective assessment activities, provide developmental and timely feedback to motivate and inspire learners to improve.

Develop and strengthen relationships with students and provide support and encouragement to ensure successful outcomes.

Join a friendly, supportive, hard-working team who are passionate about developing learners self-esteem, abilities and progress.
About You
-
Good general education including Maths and English Level 2 or above (or GCSE Grade 4 or above).

Level 3 qualification, such as a level 3 (advanced) apprenticeship, A-Levels, BTEC or NVQ

Experience of working with & supporting young people in an educational setting
- Enthusiasm and resilience are important.
