Apprenticeship Assessor - Pharmacy (Variable Hours)

About the Role

Harrogate College are recruiting for an Assessor to join our Apprenticeship Department.  

We are seeking an assessor to work on Level 2 & Level 3 Pharmacy qualifications. This role is ideal for someone who is fully qualified to assess these qualifications and who has a range of vocational assessment experiences.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the apprenticeship department and build employer relations within the locality. 

Please note, this is a variable hours contract. The number of hours will depend on the number of apprentices recruited. You will likely work a minimum of one day per week, with the potential for this to increase as the programme grows.

What You Will Do

  • You will assess Level 2 and Level 3 Pharmacy qualifications.  
  • You will ensure effective management of appointments, schedules and learner caseloads. 
  • You will work to engage with employers to build the case load of learners. 

About You

  • You will hold a Level 3 assessor qualification and have experience assessing the workplace competence of a range of teachers/assessors. 
  • You will have current and up-to-date knowledge and experience of current assessment principles and practices. 
  • Be approachable and confident to discuss apprenticeship opportunities with employers.
