Assessments and Awards Administrator

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our established Registry team.  The Assessments and Awards Administrator will join a team of other administrators to provide support for ‘on-programme’ assessment and awards administration relating to higher education at Leeds Conservatoire.

What You Will Do

  • Assist the Senior Assessments and Awards Administrator with the administration of Leeds Conservatoire’s processes for student assessment, progression and award.
  • To support the processing of applications for Mitigating Circumstances.
  • To be responsible for the implementation of any reasonable adjustments that need to be applied to assessments as recommended by the Disability Team.
  • To support the Senior Assessments and Awards Administrator with preparations for the Programme Board of Examiners and providing support with External Examiner and External Assessor activities.

About You

  • Must have GCSE English and Maths at Level 2 Grade 4/C or above.
  • Experience of using a range of IT systems including Microsoft Office and Google applications. 
  • Experience of working with student related systems or database as well as assessment administration experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with staff and students at all levels and provide excellent customer service.
  • Attention to detail and input data accurately is key.

Leeds Conservatoire is a music conservatoire located in the Quarry Hill district of Leeds. It provides a variety of undergraduate, foundation and postgraduate degrees in music, dance & drama related subject areas. It also offers a variety of short courses, and organise frequent concerts, festivals and events.Its emphasis on practical training, creative industry links, help ensure it provides a vibrant artistic community for students.
