About the Role
Are you passionate about training and developing others? Do you have experience in Project Management that you'd love to pass on? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a highly motivated individual in Project Management, to dive into the work of apprenticeships.
An ideal start for graduates or those with industry experience, the role will involve networking with employers to secure the highest level of training for our students. Responsible for planning, developing and delivering the curriculum, you will conduct training and assessment covering skills and competencies as appropriate on and off site as required to facilitate timely or relevant success of students and provide a wide range of training solutions based on employer needs.
Working in the Events, Enterprise and Employability Department at Leeds City College, you will be working within a team that has a reputation for delivering the highest level of apprenticeship courses to our learners. As well as supporting students, we are also passionate about professional development for our staff including funding Teacher Training and Assessor Qualifications

What You Will Do
- Provide training and or/assessment in appropriate disciplines (including Functional Skills) to a range of students on their selected programme or training.
- Be responsible for a caseload of candidates ensuring timely completion within agreed timescales appropriate for level and individual needs.
- Be responsible for managing the overall delivery of the Apprenticeship framework or standard.
- Support the Apprenticeship Leads and Recruitment team with: the recruitment, enrolment, sign up of students, completion of all contract documentation; provision of Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) for students and where applicable, employers and health and safety checks.
- At the commencement of the programme work with the employer and learner to agree and record in each student’s Individual Learning Plan, clear milestones and targets to enable all components of the training programme to be monitored and reviewed on an ongoing basis.
About You
- Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) or commitment to gaining within 24 months of commencement of employment
- Hold a minimum of a Level 4 PMQ or specialist qualification in this chosen subject
- Experience of creating and maintaining professional relationships with employers.
- Able to work without close supervision and resolve their own work problems using their own initiative.
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills sufficient to network and develop effective links with external partners.
