We are currently seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Manager to join the Technical & Performance Resources department at Leeds Conservatoire.
Leeds Conservatoire is a specialist conservatoire in the UK, delivering expert music and performing arts education to a community of over 1600 students. Our broad offering spans undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, along with Leeds Junior Conservatoire for young musicians and performers.
What You Will Do
This role extends beyond your technical expertise; you’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective use of audio-visual services and resources throughout the institution and provide strategic oversight and leadership for all audio-visual operations at Leeds Conservatoire.
The role includes planning and organisation of physical and human resources, the creation of audio-visual content, and providing technical support. Your duties also involve authoring and publishing core information related to audio-visual resources, along with delivering training to students and staff.
You'll actively participate in departmental planning, as well as working closely with the Head of Technical & Performance Resources, academic management, technical and support teams. Staff responsibilities include recruitment, and management of audio-visual team.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in a digital media related subject e.g. Music Production, Film/TV Production, Music Technology or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience of creating audio-visual content for learning and teaching, events, and/or marketing purposes.
- Prior experience of capturing and editing audio-visual material.
- Prior experience and understanding of audio-visual technologies.
- Excellent digital literacy and IT skills
