We're looking for an ambitious and relationship-focused Business & Commercial Engagement Coordinator to help grow our commercial offer, strengthen employer partnerships and generate new income opportunities across the Printworks Campus.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys networking, developing new business and turning ideas into successful commercial activity. You'll work closely with employers, curriculum teams and marketing colleagues to promote professional training, develop strategic partnerships and maximise the commercial potential of our industry-standard facilities, including the Printworks Kitchen & Bar, Salon & Spa and Travel, Food & Drink provision.
What You Will Do
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with employers and stakeholders to increase commercial provision, learner recruitment, and income generation.
- Plan and deliver targeted recruitment, marketing, and engagement activities, using employer networks, events, social media, and digital platforms to promote commercial courses.
- Identify and develop commercial training opportunities aligned with employer needs, including professional and compliance-based qualifications such as NEBOSH and First Aid.
- Support campus financial growth through pipeline development, income diversification, and collaboration with curriculum, marketing, and project teams.
- Contribute to funded project development, high-quality funding applications, and quality reporting to support performance monitoring and commercial success.
About You
- Hold Level 2 English and Maths (or above), a Level 3 qualification, and relevant professional qualifications, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Demonstrate a successful track record in business development, employer engagement, and achieving commercial or sales targets through the identification of new opportunities.
- Possess strong sector knowledge and experience of maintaining quality standards, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement.
- Be an excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with employers, stakeholders, colleagues, and learners.
- Have strong commercial awareness, analytical skills, and the ability to use financial and labour market data to inform decision-making and support business growth.
- Be proactive, innovative, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes, embracing continuous improvement, inclusivity, and creative approaches to employer engagement and service delivery.
