About the Role
Harrogate College is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly motivated Electrical Course Leader who will be responsible for a growing number of Electrical Installation students covering Levels 1 to 3. This role will be based in our Tech Centre using industry-standard equipment.

We are willing to consider flexibility surrounding working hours including Full Time, Part Time or Variable Hours Contracts.
What You Will Do
- You will manage a small, friendly team and the courses that are delivered in the Electrical Installation Department.
- You will be responsible for the retention, achievement, and positive progression rates for identified courses in your Course Leader area.
- Provide high quality and effective planning and delivery across the course team.
- Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners ensuring successful outcomes.
- Carry out internal verification/moderation.
- Help to ensure all team members maintain and update knowledge of the subject and / or vocational area.
About You
- Hold a minimum of a Level 3 or specialist qualification in Electrical Installation.
- Hold 18th Edition qualifications.
- Hold a L5 Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE).
- Relevant experience, knowledge and skills to enable delivery of a range of levels across the curriculum, which demonstrates active learning and differentiated teaching styles.
- Knowledge and industry experience within the curriculum area.
- Previous experience of managing student and group progression, providing advice and guidance in a learning environment.
- Experience developing creative learning materials for groups of learners.
- Ability to plan and deliver quality teaching.
