In this role, you will be the friendly, hands-on support for our staff as they explore educational technology and AI tools. What You Will Do
Support Training Sessions: Co-deliver engaging workshops, webinars, and informal drop-in sessions on Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Canva, and AI apps like Gemini and CoPilot.
Create Helpful Resources: Design simple "how-to" guides, quick video tutorials, and visual cheat sheets to make complex tools easy to understand.
Deliver 1-to-1 Support: Provide patient, empathetic guidance to staff members with lower digital confidence, helping them save time in their daily routines.
Build AI Resources: Help develop and maintain a group-wide digital innovation and AI resources to support staff with admin tasks and lesson planning.
First-Line Troubleshooting: Act as a "jargon-buster" and technical help point to solve everyday software issues before escalating to core IT teams.
Promote Accessibility & Safety: Ensure all learning resources are accessible to all users while promoting safe digital habits and data security.
About You
A genuine passion for technology and its ability to transform everyday working and learning.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas in simple, non-jargon language.
Good proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or Canva.
An empathetic, patient, and approachable mindset with a positive "can-do" attitude to problem-solving.
Level 2 qualifications including English and Maths, with a commitment to achieving a Level 3 Digital Support Technician apprenticeship.
A basic understanding of data security, cybersecurity awareness, and GDPR in an educational environment.
