About the Role
We are looking for an Exams Administrator role to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player who can also work independently.
This is a key role in the exams office. You will be responsible for ensuring that students are registered and certificated accurately with the awarding body and that exams and external assessments are timetabled and organised so that they run smoothly and according to JCQ and awarding body regulations.
What You Will Do
The exams team are a very busy team that manages and processes qualification registrations, exam and external assessment bookings and certification for students at Leeds City College. Exams and external assessments have to be timetabled to ensure that students have their exam access arrangements and that invigilation and rooming meet the required regulations. You will be instrumental in the registering, the exam planning, the processing and recording of learners’ achievement to maximise students’ future progression and also the college funding return.
About You
- Prioritise your workload to ensure that deadlines are met.
- An excellent eye for detail and good organisational skills are key; to ensure that all procedures and processes are adhered to and that students are registered for the correct exams and qualifications.
- You will need to be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Good IT skills are essential to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
