Exams Liaison Officer

About the Role

We are looking for an Exams Liaison Officer to join our team, you will be a key member of the exams team and assist in the smooth running of the campus exams.

The Exams Team at Keighley College is responsible for managing all aspects of the examination process, including scheduling, administration, and ensuring compliance with examination regulations. They work closely with students to provide necessary information and support related to exams.

What You Will Do

  • Instrumental in ensuring that all exams and assessments run smoothly and meet awarding body deadlines and regulations.
  • Help to manage and processes qualification registrations, exam and external assessment bookings and certification for students at Keighley College.
  • Take a lead role in running workshops/events to better prepare invigilators and students for exams.
  • Monitor outcome data in order to maximise achievements for funding and statistical purposes
  • Notify staff/students of the date, time and place of examinations.

About You

  • You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and prioritise tasks.
  • An excellent eye for detail is key to ensure that all procedures and processes are adhered to and that students are registered for the correct exams and qualifications.
  • You will need to be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. 
  • Be an excellent communicator and deal with problems, ensuring high quality customer service at all times.
  • Good IT skills are essential to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately and that data can be used to track exam processes.
