What You Will Do

As a Continuous Improvement Coordinator, you will be a key practitioner in driving operational excellence within our organisation. Supported by the Change & Transformation Manager, your primary responsibility will be to plan, manage, and implement improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

You will utilise Lean methodologies and other change practice you learn in your apprenticeship study to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies, ensuring that our operations comply with all relevant regulations and safety standards. By developing project charters, eliminating waste and refining procedural practices, you will help the organisation grow operationally and in efficiency.

In this role, you will engage with a variety of diverse teams across the organisation, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will complete process mapping activities, conduct root cause analyses, and develop control plans to sustain improvements.

Effective communication and change management will be important, as you will support your peers through the change, capture progress, and communicate wins through our range of communication channels. This position offers a dynamic and collaborative work setting where your contributions will drive significant business benefits and personal growth.

As this is an apprenticeship role, 20% of your time per week will be dedicated exclusively to your study.

About You

The ideal candidate would be someone who exhibits resilience and positivity in the face of resistance to change. You would understand that change can be challenging, but approach it with a proactive and optimistic attitude, viewing obstacles as opportunities for growth and innovation.

You would be a strong team player and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. You would value the importance of working cohesively with colleagues across different departments, embracing diverse perspectives and a culture of mutual respect and support. You would strive to communicate effectively and empathetically, encouraging others to embrace continuous improvement practice.
