PA to Dean of Higher Education

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant (PA) to provide professional and proactive executive support to the Dean of University Centre Leeds. This is a pivotal role to ensure the smooth running of the Dean’s office and supporting the effective delivery of strategic and operational priorities.

We are based in the heart of Leeds at our new Mabgate Campus, home to a vibrant and creative community of staff and students. What You Will Do

  • Act as the first point of contact for the Dean
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the Dean, including diary, email, and travel management.
  • Prepare correspondence i.e. reports, presentations to a high professional standard.
  • Coordinate and service meetings, ensuring agendas, papers are managed effectively.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Support faculty-wide projects, initiatives, and events as required.
  • Play a key role in maintaining efficient communication and ensuring that the Dean is well-supported in a busy and dynamic environment.

About You

  • Significant experience providing high-level administrative or PA support, ideally within a higher education or similarly complex organisation
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities with tact and efficiency
  • Be confident in working independently, exercising sound judgement, and representing the Dean’s office with professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google applications
  • Strong attention to detail is essential
