About the Role
We are a growing department based in Keighley, with a strong focus on Childcare and Education, delivering successful study programmes for 16–18-year-olds. Following the progression of our current manager, we are seeking a new leader to oversee the programme area and drive the curriculum forward. We offer clear pathways in Childcare and Education, supported by a dynamic team that includes staff with recent industry experience, bringing valuable knowledge and insights to enrich our learners’ journey.
What You Will Do
- You will be responsible for managing a team delivering programmes from Level 1 to Level 3.
- In addition to your leadership role, you will have a teaching commitment, delivering sessions to 16–18-year-olds on full-time study programmes.
- A strong understanding of contemporary childhood studies and education is essential, and industry experience in the sector would be highly advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of T Levels is also required.
- You will play a key role in curriculum development and will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and quality assuring both staff and student performance throughout the academic year.
- Your role will also involve leading course reviews, analysing data, and identifying timely interventions to support continuous improvement.
About You
- You will have extensive knowledge and experience of leading and managing in Further Education setting .
- You will have experience leading a a team of teachers and be able to demonstrate positive outcomes
- You will have a strong childhood studies and education and industry experience that will transfer to a level 1 - 3 curriculum
- Knowledge, experience and understanding of T Levels is also required.
