School Admin Officer (Part-Time, Reduced Year)

About the Role

Part Time 25 hours per week (9am to 2pm Monday to Friday)

39 weeks per year

Based at Deacon House in Seacroft,near the large Tesco. Easily accessible via public transport, there are cycle racks where you can secure your bike, as well as parking if you are travelling by car.

The Adult, Community and ESOL Team deliver a range of exciting courses to our diverse learners in the heart of our community. From Maths and English to flower arranging and dress making there is something for everyone! We are revitalising our department and are recruiting two School Admin Officers to support the curriculum team.

We're looking for dynamic and vibrant professionals who are able to engage with and support our learners.

Never worked in a college? That's okay! We are looking for your skills, experience, and ability to make our students feel welcome in our centres. 

What You Will Do

  • Support the curriculum administration for an identified area of the schools activity including systems and processes.
  • Support student enrolments within the School and work with the central MIS/Marketing teams throughout enrolment periods.
  • Ensure appropriate systems are in place to manage electronic files.
  • Work collaboratively with other schools to ensure a coordinated approach to relevant systems and processes including cover and support, catering for fluctuating workloads and absences.
  • Support the School with Curriculum Planning including timetabling, course profiling.

About You

  • Relevant Qualification at level 3 or above.
  • Relevant Customer service qualification or training.
  • Literacy and numeracy qualification at Level 2 or above.
  • Experience of working in a customer focused role/ environment.
  • Experience of using data to drive developments.
  • Experience of keeping student records up to date including timetabling and registers.
  • Experience of enrolment process.
