Senior International Recruitment Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior International Recruitment Officer to join our team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of our Head of International Recruitment to deliver strategies to attract and recruit international students, enhancing Leeds Conservatoire's and the Groups global presence and reputation.

We are a specialist institution, which trains students in music and performing arts. We offer practical industry focused teaching in our bespoke facilities so that our students get the best possible student experience with professional musical tuition, and bespoke facilities. Which has helped us surpass the sector average in several areas at this year’s National Student Survey.  We are dedicated to providing high-quality education and support to students from around the world.

What You Will Do

  • Take responsibility to deliver recruitment activity in priority international markets, both established and emerging, in order to meet recruitment targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with international schools, agents, and organizations.
  • Represent Leeds Conservatoire/ the Group at international education fairs, webinars, and events
  • Provide guidance and support to prospective international students throughout the application process
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless transition for international students
  • Analyse market trends and recruitment data to inform strategies and improve outcomes.

About You

  • A sound understanding of Higher Education including education marketing; student recruitment, admissions process and global recruitment trends
  •  Awareness of the international political, economic and social factors affecting the flows of international students to the UK
  • Previous experience of gathering, analysing and implementing market data to make informed decisions around recruitment activity and priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Educated to degree level or relevant professional qualification or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to travel overseas regularly and be flexible to work weekends and evenings when required

Leeds Conservatoire is a music conservatoire located in the Quarry Hill district of Leeds.
