About the Role
Are you experienced in delivering student recruitment events and activities? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, leading teams and delivering outstanding experiences? If so, we have the perfect role for you!
We’re looking for a Student Recruitment Manager to lead, manage, and deliver high-quality student recruitment events for Leeds Conservatoire and University Centre Leeds, both part of Luminate Education Group.

What You Will Do
- Lead a team delivering on-campus, online, and external student recruitment events and activities.
- Develop and implement strategic recruitment event and activity plans that align with our marketing and recruitment goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key schools, colleges, and community groups.
- Provide expert advice on event logistics, strategy, and best practices to internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the recruitment and training of student ambassadors.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of events, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective and impactful activities.
- Represent our institutions at external conferences and industry events.
- This role involves some evening and weekend work, plus UK-wide travel.
About You
- Proven experience in event planning and management, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong people management skills, with experience leading and developing teams.
- Excellent project management abilities, ensuring smooth and efficient event delivery.
- A customer-focused approach, with the ability to engage and inspire prospective students via our marketing material.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience managing budgets and evaluating event success.
- A creative, problem-solving mindset to enhance event innovation.
- A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in student recruitment.
- A degree (or equivalent qualification) is essential.
