We’re looking for a motivated and technically skilled Systems and Online Services Analyst to take the lead on managing and developing our student data management systems and online service portals. In this key role, you’ll help shape how our Higher Education (HE) provision operates by improving self-service functionality and driving meaningful student engagement.

You’ll also handle system configurations, troubleshoot technical issues, and use your expert knowledge to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Working closely with the Group Head of HE MIS and our ITSS services team, you’ll support the ongoing development and maintenance of the student records system. This includes managing server environments, coordinating annual upgrades, service releases, and hotfixes, and reviewing new enhancements and supplier documentation to keep our systems performing at their best.
What You Will Do
- Lead the design and ongoing development of the student record system to support student self-service and staff back-office functions.
- Act as the HE MIS team’s central expert for developing, implementing, and maintaining staff and student self-service portals.
- Ensure processes, user access, and role management support accurate data collection for the Conservatoire and University Centre Leeds, meeting all statutory requirements.
- Manage system queries, technical issues, configuration changes, and enhancement requests, liaising with software suppliers where needed.
- Create and maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation for all systems and applications.
About You
- Strong knowledge and understanding of relational databases, Microsoft SQL Server, and student data management systems.
- Experience in the development, configuration, and build of complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with Tribal’s SITS Vision student record system, including expertise in e:Vision, Tasks, Vistas, and SITS Client setup and maintenance.
