Work Experience and Placement Co-ordinator (Part-Time)

What You Will Do

• You will promote and coordinate the work experience programme across college, enabling meaningful work experience that is aligned with course requirements and career aims. 
• Work with curriculum staff to ensure any required work experience element of their course is fulfilled. 
• Develop successful stakeholder relationships with employers and businesses in the region. 
• Be innovative and responsive to the needs of the college and department in relation to work experience and careers guidance.
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively to deadlines independently. 

About You

• Hold a English and Maths at Level 2 or above.
• Understanding of the benefits of work experience.
• Highly organised individual able to manage a busy workload.
• Excellent IT skills (using both Google and Microsoft systems).
• Strong communication skills and understanding of building and developing stakeholder relationships are crucial to this role.

This will complement the college’s existing tech centre which is home to its motor vehicle, electrical, joinery and welding workshops.
