Business Development Advisor

About the Role

This is an exciting role is for the right person who can proactively reach out to and engage new business leads to understand their training and education needs. Be able to conduct quality conversations to fact find and identify opportunities to sell courses. Upsell and cross-sell additional courses and offerings to leads and prospects

Possess strong communication and customer service skills to build relationships. Have commercial acumen to identify and drive new business opportunities. Engage and convert hot leads into new business and revenue. Achieve sales targets and grow a portfolio of clients. Identify new sales and business development opportunities

Work effectively with the broader Business Development team. Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts. Develop growth strategies and proposals for existing accounts. Support new business development through lead generation and networking.

What You Will Do

  • Provide proactive outbound advice to clients (both new and existing face to face).
  • Assist in maintaining partner relationships via organising events and managing network groups. 
  • Able to take full management responsibility for a portfolio of clients expanding over the region and the UK. 
  • Collaborate with the team in a positive manner. 
  • Actively connecting with Managers and Directors to suggest any contributions to improve procedures.
  • Confident, professional, and friendly so customer relationships are of the highest quality. 
  • Organised with proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
  • Works well in a team as well as independently. 

About You

  • You will need to be resilient, driven, and strategic sales professional who can build relationships, identify opportunities, and close deals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen are essential.
  • Be able to Relationship build - able to establish rapport and build strong relationships with clients and prospects. 
  • It is essential that you can work well with people.
  • Strong communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and effectively with prospects, clients, and colleagues.
  • You will need to be highly organised and focused driven.
  • It is essential that you are competent in using software such as spreadsheets and Management information systems.
