Lead Assessor for Apprenticeships - Electrical Installation

About the Role

Keighley College are recruiting for a Electrical Assessor to join our team. We are looking for a highly motivated Electrical Assessor who will be responsible for a growing number of Electrical Installation Level 3 apprentices.

What You Will Do

We are looking for an industry professional to assess the practical skills of our electrical  apprentices on site, whilst supporting them in building their portfolio of evidence towards the apprenticeship standard.

This will involve;

  • Managing your own caseload, and arranging site visits 
  • Monitoring progress and completing progress reviews
  • Liaise with, and provide feedback to the employer on progress against the Apprenticeship Standards                                                     

About You

The ideal candidate will possess relevant industry qualifications, a strong understanding of electrical systems, and a passion for education. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of future electrical professionals.

  • Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or specialist qualification in the curriculum specialist subject area
  • Possess A1 Assessor units or a willingness to work towards
  • Previous experience of assessing and an understanding of the Apprenticeship Standards
