Teacher - Beauty Therapies (Variable Hours)

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Beauty Therapy Teacher to join our team and support learners to achieve their full potential in the beauty industry.

In this role, you will deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons, ensuring learners develop industry-standard skills, professional behaviours, and the confidence needed for employment, apprenticeships, or further study. You will plan and assess learning in line with awarding body requirements while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene within training salons and classrooms.

The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching, committed to inclusive practice, and able to motivate learners of varying abilities. You will also contribute to curriculum development, learner progress tracking, and quality improvement activities.

This role is ideal for an experienced beauty professional who enjoys developing others and maintaining strong links with industry practice.

Please note, this is a variable hours contract. Hours are not fixed but will be based on business needs. 

What You Will Do

  • Teaching practical beauty treatments and theory such as anatomy and physiology, health & safety, and client care.

  • Planning engaging lessons that meet awarding body and curriculum requirements.

  • Assessing learner work through observations, assignments, and exams.

  • Supporting learners to build confidence, professionalism, and employability skills.

  • Maintaining salon-standard health, safety, and hygiene in training environments.

  • Tracking learner progress and contributing to quality assurance and improvement.

  • Acting as a role model for industry standards and professional behaviour.

About You

  1. Hold a Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification (or higher)
  2. Hold Cert Ed/PGCE
  3. Have relevant industry experience within a salon, spa, or clinical setting
  4. Hold a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one)
  5. Demonstrate strong communication and classroom/practical management skills
  6. Be organised, reliable, and committed to high-quality teaching and assessment
  7. Maintain excellent health, safety, and hygiene standards
  8. Show commitment to inclusive practice, safeguarding, and learner support
  9. Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and keen to contribute to curriculum and quality improvement
