Work Experience Coordinator

About the Role

Are you passionate about helping students gain real-world experience and kick-start their careers? Join Keighley College as our Work Experience Co-ordinator and play a pivotal role in preparing students for the world of work.  Coordinate high quality work placements and work experience activities for students across a variety of curriculum areas, including as part of the post 16 study programme.

What You Will Do

  • Support students in securing high-quality work placements related to their course or career interests.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local employers and industry professionals.
  • Ensure all placements meet health, safety, and safeguarding standards.
  • Track student progress and placement outcomes, reporting on impact and engagement.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and curriculum teams to align placements with learning goals.
  • Undertake all administrative task involved in coordinating work placements and supporting the team as and when required.

 

About You

  • Literacy and Numeracy at Level 2 or above and a relevant level 3 qualification
  • A proactive, student-centred approach
  • Confidence working with external stakeholders and internal teams alike.
  • Knowledge or understanding of coordinating work placements, careers services, or employer engagement
  • Highly competent in using a range of IT systems and software (Microsoft Office, Goggle Applications)
