About the Role
We are looking for a Teacher of Floor and Wall Tiling to deliver our adult short course. We are looking for a qualified, experienced and knowledgeable tradesperson who has and enthusiasm for teaching and learning along with the ability to motivate and inspire adults looking to learn tiling for DIY or handyman skills, experienced people looking to extend their trade skills, perfect their tiling skills or those seeking a new career as a tiler.
Achieving relevant and industry specific qualifications or skills can be life changing to students who wish to go on to further study, into employment or higher education. Our team is committed to developing student beliefs in their own ability, using restorative and supportive approaches. Learners are encouraged to have fun, to be kind and to believe in their own unique abilities and talents and to be proud of the progress they make. About You
The ideal candidate will be passionate about learners, ensuring our adults are provided with an outstanding learning journey whilst at Harrogate College. The role will involve working within our trades curriculum area to deliver this short course within our adult learning programme. We are an organisation that nurtures and develops those new to teaching as well as more experienced teachers. About Us
Harrogate College has excellent facilities and provides a professional and friendly environment. We have recently been awarded £16m of government funding to transform our campus. This will complement the college’s existing tech centre which is home to its motor vehicle, electrical, joinery and welding workshops.
