About the Role

Are you passionate about helping students succeed? Do you have a friendly and helpful attitude? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for a Student Support Officer role!

As a Student Support Officer, you would be responsible for providing high-quality study support to students. You would need to be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders. You would also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team.

In addition to the essential skills and experience listed above, the ideal candidate would also be energetic and enthusiastic. They would be patient and understanding and be able to work under pressure. They would also be able to maintain confidentiality.

What You Will Do

  • Providing high-quality study support to users of the College LRC.
  • Help students develop their independent learning skills, using the full range of college resources, and promoting skills for learning.
  • Respond to enquiries from students and staff, participate in induction programs, provide technical support, and undertake general ilearn hub duties.
  • Work flexibly to promote positive and attractive study spaces and deputise for the ilearn mentors and ilearn campus leads as required.
